Fes To Marrakech Desert Tours : 3 Nights & 4 Days
Desert excursion for 4 days/3 nights starting in Fez and ending in Marrakech.
Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Midelt – Ziz Gorges - Erfoud - Rissani - Merzouga.
After an early breakfast you will begin your ascent across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. On arrival at the Kasbah in Merzouga, a hot shower or dip in the swimming pool (depending on the weather) will be a treat after the drive. Dinner will be served at the Kasbah.
Day 2: Merzouga - Desert Adventure and Camel Trekking .
Here in the sahara desert of Erg Chebbi, we start at 11:00 or earlier and go on a drive throughout the sand dunes. While driving on these fabulous landscapes we will see plenty of nomadic black tents in the middle of nowhere. We shall stop by a nomadic family to have tea and see what a nonadic life looks like. We go on our drive and let’s discover the nomadic life of Berber people by visiting khamliya, a village where nothing has been changed through centuries. Either we lunch here in khamliya village or we go back to our hotel and lunch there. After a nape we go on a comel ride to meet one of the most fascinating sight we will ever seen, the superb sunset in the middle of the high sand dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). Tonight we stay in Berber camp and enjoy a wonderful stars view.
Day 3: Merzouga - Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Dades - Ouarzazate.
We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes then take a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and breakfast
then we start our journey to Ouarzazate ,on the way; we will visit the Berber villages containing, todra gorges..then we drive to ouarzazate trough dades, roses valley skoura..we will arrive to ouarzazate in evening.
Day 4 : Ouarzazate - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech.
After breakfast, the entire day is devoted to the visit of Ouarzazate: the Kasbah of Taourirt, Tifoultout and the cinema studio. Then you will drive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben haddou (under Unesco protection) ; visit of the Kasbah and the old village afternoon departure to Marrakech via the Tizi-N-Ticha pass ; We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
